SHELBY + DEREK {Arkansas Engagement}

I have been so excited to share Shelby + Derek's engagement session with you! Get ready to swoon over the most adorable couple you'll ever see. Literally, so much perfection. We shot on some family friend's property and it couldn't have been better. When we all arrived, Derek was driving his Papa's "Blue Cadillac" for a prop, and it was so stinkin' cute! This piece of property had rolling hills, a gorgeous pond, lush forests, wheat fields... literally the WHOLE package. I thought I was meeting Shelby + Derek for the first time... BUT, upon arriving I knew I had met Derek before but I just didn't know where from. I decided to just wait it out to see if it would 'come to me', but, of course, it didn't. So I told Derek that he looked SO familiar and he quickly reminded me of how I knew him. It is beyond crazy to me how I've reconnected with my childhood with being a photographer and it always makes my job even that much more fun when I have a past with my sweet couples!!! Shelby + Derek's November wedding will be at a local venue (one of our favorites) and we already know it will be sweetly perfect. If their wedding day is anything like their wedding invitation we got in the mail, it's bound to be flawless!!! (P.S. We LOVE getting wedding invitations from our brides!
