Terms and Conditions

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS THOROUGHLY! 

If cancellation should occur because of unforeseen circumstances or rescheduling conflict, deposit is non-refundable. The deposit is active for 1 year from the original scheduled photo session date. After one year the deposit expires and is non-refundable or transferable. 

Payment of this deposit (electronically or by mail), in turn, agrees to the terms and conditions listed below: 

Clients will give at least 24 hours notice of cancellation, or the client will be held responsible for the full amount agreed upon at booking (amount listed on the pricing sheet). 

Because of the unpredictable and unprecedented times that we’re living in, the photographer(s) reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any type of session at any time due to sickness or signs of any type of sickness from the photographer, photographers family and/or from the client(s).  If the client wishes to cancel and not reschedule, the client recognizes than any amount that has already been paid (either deposit or full payment) will be forfeited. 

Clients are allowed one reschedule without additional fees associated with rescheduling. If the client cancels and reschedules for a second time the remaining balance for the session must be paid up front before rescheduling and a rescheduling fee of $75 is also added to the total. If the client should need to cancel for the third time and reschedule the payment is forfeited and a new session with new deposit is required. The client cancellations listed above are for any reason OTHER than weather related issues. We cannot control the weather. :)

Client also agrees to the amount of images listed on pricing information. Photographer is not required to give any additional images after fulfilling image limit. 

The Client agrees to grant the photographer 5-6 weeks until the full image gallery is delivered. 
Note: (It never takes that long, it's there just to be safe. My typical turnaround time is 2-3 weeks) 
Shingleur Photography also does not provide sneak peeks for family, senior, engagement, bridal or newborn sessions. 

The Client agrees to give to Shingleur Photography the absolute and irrevocable right and permission with respect to the photographs that he/she has taken of myself and/or my minor child in which he/she may be included with others. This includes the right to publish these images online. If you have specific wishes for minors to not be published online please notify the photographer at the time of booking. 

Client also agrees that the Photographer is not responsible for any injuries or illnesses inflicted upon any participating parties. Client(s) will be responsible for their children and for themselves and release photographer from any claims against their person or their business. Shoot will also not be rescheduled or redone if the client isn't satisfied with the behavior of their child. 

Client also agrees that they will have a period of 30 days after the delivery of their digital files via Pixieset to request any enlargements or edits to photographs. Your original images will be deleted from our hard drives after 30 days to make room for future sessions. Any requests for enlargements or edits of any kind after 30 days are not guaranteed and may possibly result in additional fees per image (base price starts at $30 per image for simple editing such as turning a b&w photo to color and goes up front there). Client agrees to download their FULL gallery to their computer or other device for safe keeping within that 30 day time frame. Galleries will be deleted from Pixieset after one year. 

Terms and conditions for outfit styling add-on:
If purchased, photographer will contact you with a style guide form to fill out. Client realizes they are not obligated to purchase or wear any of the suggested pieces from the style board, but also agrees that no refund will be given if the pieces chosen "aren't their style" or if the pieces chosen become unavailable online. The client is also allowed to and encouraged to use the board for inspiration and look else wear for outfits if they are unsatisfied with actual pieces on the style board. Style boards and links will be sent within at least 14 days prior to session to allow time for the delivery of pieces.  Photographer is not responsible for the cost of items listed on the style board, and the price of the session or price of the styling does not cover the price of items on the style board.
